One Eve. To simply be yourself
Does this sound familiar?

You're Moving Fast — But Something Quiet Is Asking You to Slow Down

You wake up, you handle it. The meetings, the responsibilities, the messages that arrive before you've had your first cup of coffee. You show up for everyone — your family, your team, your clients, your community. And most days, you do it well. From the outside, your life looks full. But fullness isn't the same as nourishment, and you know the difference.

"There are whole parts of me I haven't had a real conversation about in months."

There's a version of yourself that gets to the end of the week and realizes she never once talked about what was actually on her heart. Not the logistics, not the calendar, not the update — her real inner life. The wonder, the worry, the longing, the joy that hasn't quite had room to land yet. That part of you is patient. But she is waiting.

Most of us have plenty of people in our lives. But genuine conversation — the kind where someone looks at you and you feel truly witnessed — can be surprisingly rare, even when you're surrounded by others. We're often in rooms full of people and still a little hungry for real connection. We swap updates instead of sharing what's underneath them. We stay surface-level because depth takes a kind of safety we don't always feel we have permission to ask for.

And the friendships that once felt easy? Life has a way of stretching them thin. Distance, busyness, the quiet drift that happens when everyone is doing their best just to keep up. You love the women in your life. But when did you last sit with them — not to plan something, not to solve something — just to be together in the fullest sense?

This is not a complaint about your life. Your life is meaningful. This is simply an honest acknowledgment that leaders — women who carry a great deal — often forget that they are also allowed to receive. To be poured into. To sit at a table where the only expectation is that you show up as you are.

That kind of evening doesn't happen by accident. It has to be created, held, and tended with care. That's what this dinner is for.

The cost of staying on the pace

What Happens When We Keep Saying "Not Yet"

There will always be a reason to wait. The timing isn't quite right, the week is too full, there's something that needs sorting first. We have become masters of the deferral — not because we don't want more for ourselves, but because we have quietly accepted that our own renewal is the last thing on the list.

This isn't about one dinner changing your life overnight. It's about the quiet courage of saying: tonight, I am choosing myself. It's about what becomes possible when you step into a room filled with women who are doing the same thing — and discover that you were never as alone in this as you thought.

The turning point

What Changes When Women Gather with Intention

There is a particular kind of magic that only happens around a table — a real table, with real food, where everyone has made the deliberate choice to be present. Not virtual, not rushed, not structured around a task. Just women, gathered on purpose, with the rare gift of unscheduled time between them.

The difference is intention. When an evening is held — when someone has thought carefully about how to open the conversation, how to create safety, how to move between laughter and meaning — something almost surprising happens: women tell the truth. Not the edited version, not the highlight reel. The real thing. And in that truth-telling, they find each other, often discovering that what felt most private was actually most universal.

This is what Maria's Circle has always been about.

Maria has spent years creating spaces where women can lead from the inside out — where the inner work and the outer life are allowed to align. Project Light exists because real transformation is rarely a solo journey. It happens in community. It happens when someone finally says the thing she's been carrying, and the woman across the table says — softly, with recognition — me too.

The November dinner is a continuation of that work. It is not a seminar, not a networking event, and not a performance. It is simply a room full of women choosing, for a November evening, to rise together — and to remember what it feels like to be fully, joyfully, peacefully alive.

What this evening makes room for

You'll Leave This Evening Having…

✨
Exhaled — truly

Not the quick reset between tasks. A real, full-body release that only comes when you stop performing and simply arrive. This is the kind of rest that goes deeper than sleep.

🌿
Found your people — or deepened the bond

Whether you come already knowing someone or walk in as a stranger, the intimacy of this table makes genuine connection feel natural. You will not leave the way you arrived.

💛
Laughed, shared and felt seen

Joy is not frivolous — it is a form of alignment. There will be laughter here, and there will be meaning, and they will coexist beautifully in the same breath.

🕊️
Touched something quieter inside you

Beneath the pace, beneath the roles, there is a version of you that is simply at peace. Evenings like this create the conditions for that version to surface — and to speak.

🌸
Remembered the power of sisterhood

Women who lead together, who hold each other honestly and with warmth — they rise differently. This evening is a living reminder of what becomes possible in that kind of company.

🌟
Left lit up, not depleted

Many gatherings take from you. This one gives back. You'll walk to your car on a November night feeling fuller than when you arrived — in every way that matters.

What the Table Has Held

I almost didn't come — I was tired, I had a full week, and honestly I felt a little silly making the drive for a dinner. By 7:30 PM I had tears in my eyes and was laughing with women I'd only just met. It was exactly what I didn't know I needed.

— A guest from a previous evening

I came by myself and I was nervous about that. Within twenty minutes I wasn't sitting alone — I was in the middle of a real conversation. Maria creates a space where you don't have to perform. You can just show up. That is rarer than it sounds.

— A guest who arrived solo

This wasn't networking and it wasn't therapy. It was something more honest than either of those. Dinner, good wine, and women willing to actually talk. I left feeling aligned in a way I struggle to put into words — lighter, and more myself.

About your host

The Woman Who Holds the Space

Maria knows what it is to carry a great deal — and to do it gracefully, for a long time — while quietly wondering if there is a version of life that could feel more aligned, more alive, more fully her own. She also knows what it is to find that version. Not by stepping away from leadership, but by leading differently — from the inside out.

Maria's Circle began as a conviction: that women who are building meaningful lives deserve a community that holds them just as carefully as they hold everyone else. That the inner work — the clarity, the truth-telling, the moments of joy and peace and deep sisterhood — is not separate from the outer life of leadership. It is the foundation of it.

Project Light is the expression of that conviction. Through gatherings, conversations, and curated experiences like this dinner, Maria creates conditions where women can rise — not by adding more to their lives, but by coming home to themselves. Every evening she hosts is held with warmth, intention, and a genuine belief that every woman at the table has something luminous to offer — and deserves to feel it.

The November dinner is a continuation of this work. Maria will be with you the whole evening — not as a speaker, not as a facilitator at the front of a room, but as a host in the truest sense: present, attuned, and genuinely delighted that you're there.

Common questions

Everything You Might Be Wondering

What exactly will happen at the dinner?
The evening runs from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at La Bocca Ristorante & Vineria. You'll arrive, settle in, and be welcomed warmly. Over dinner — real food, good drinks, and an unhurried table — Maria holds space for genuine conversation: the kind that moves between joy and meaning, laughter and depth. There is no formal agenda, no presentations, and nothing you need to prepare. The structure is light. The presence is the thing.
Can I come by myself? I don't know anyone who's going.
Yes — many women do, and the evening is built specifically so that arriving alone is easy and comfortable. You will not spend the evening sitting on your own. The intimacy of the table and the way Maria opens the space means that strangers become genuinely warm company within the first half hour. Several of the women who have most loved these evenings came entirely on their own.
What's included in the $75 seat?
Your $75 covers your dinner, two drinks (wine, cocktail, or non-alcoholic — your choice), and the full three-hour curated experience. Food, curation, and two drinks are all included. You won't be handed a separate bill for extras at the end — everything is taken care of so you can be fully present.
Where exactly is it? How do I find the venue?
The dinner is at La Bocca Ristorante & Vineria, located at 8 Church Street, White Plains, NY 10601. We recommend planning to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before 6:30 PM. That little buffer gives you a chance to park, walk in without rushing, and ease into the evening before it begins. There's something lovely about arriving a little early — you'll be among the first to settle in, and that sets a beautiful tone.
What kind of women come to this? Is it for a specific type of person?
The women who come to these evenings are diverse in their backgrounds, their careers, and their life stages — what they share is a willingness to be present and a quiet sense that real connection matters to them. Some are leaders in business, some in their families, some in their communities. Some are in a season of growth; some are navigating transition. The common thread is that they've chosen to show up for themselves this evening. That is the only qualification.
Is this a business or networking event?
No. This is not a networking event, a pitch evening, or a professional development workshop. There are no business cards required, no elevator pitches, and no agenda around what you do. Of course, meaningful friendships and connections naturally arise when women gather honestly — but that is a lovely consequence, not the design. The design is simply for you to have a beautiful, nourishing evening.
What if I'm not sure I'll have the energy after a long week?
This comes up often, and it's worth saying directly: the women who almost didn't come because they were tired are frequently the ones who say it was exactly what they needed. This evening is not one more thing that requires you to perform or produce. It replenishes. Showing up weary is not a problem — it means the evening can do its work. Give yourself the chance to find out.
Is there a deadline to reserve? Are seats limited?
No deadline — you can reserve right up until the evening itself, as long as a seat is left. The table is intentionally small, only 40 seats, and evenings like this tend to fill, so if you feel drawn to come, don’t leave it to the last minute. Once the table is full, the door closes.
